Purpose: Allow our top MBA students the ability to meet individuals from consulting firms
and ask questions in a non-intimidating event to attain insights into the consulting industry.

Are you interested in a consulting career but are nervous about the case interview?  Come practice case interviews with the consulting club each week and increase your confidence.  All MBA students are welcome.

About The Consulting Club

Who We Are
The Bauer MBA Society (BMBAS) Consulting Club is an organization that is dedicated to bringing together Bauer graduate students interested in consulting careers and promoting the consulting profession within the Bauer community. We strive to achieve this by focusing on the following objectives:

1. Exposing students to Consulting – Increasing awareness of the consulting profession through consulting-related seminars, consulting-firm site visits, and other networking opportunities.
2. Provide students with practice in Consulting – Help facilitate opportunities for students to gain more real-world consulting experience by working with University resources and local businesses to identify and scope potential consulting engagements
3. Help students prepare for Consulting case interviews – Increase our members’ readiness for consulting careers through providing case-interview preparation.

Live Consulting Case Interview Preparation – Accenture, November 21, 2014, 11:30 to 1:00, location UCBB 522 (Seating is limited)

The consulting club will host a live case interview preparation welcoming back strategy consulting alumni from Accenture. Learn and receive feedback from industry professionals on your interview techniques. Attendees are urged to read the book Case in Point (by Marc Cosentino) prior to the event. Basic case prep materials can be obtained from the consulting club and Rockwell Career center in advance of the live session. The format will be in person, attire is business professional. RSVP to

Bauer Consulting Lab Update
The Bauer Consulting Lab completed its Fall 2013 project with a Houston-based Fortune 500 Energy company. Team members Angelique Pereira, Julie Oldbury, Owen Davies, Christopher Manfredi, Mehul Shah, Tony Boss and Shama Hanif delivered a 5-year sales and marketing growth strategy and implementation plan for a new industrial product line.
Rockwell Career Center
The Rockwell Career Center is actively working to connect Bauer MBA students with firms hiring in consulting positions in Houston and across the country.
