About The Energy Club
Who We Are
Our mission is to liaise between Bauer MBA candidates and Energy Industry Officers to provide insights into careers, Industry trends and networking opportunities.
We aim to accomplish our mission by using the following goals:
1. Host at least five events (e.g. seminars, mixers) in an academic year, two each in the Fall and Spring semesters and one during Summer.
2. Liaise between Bauer Administration, Bauer MBA Society, Rockwell Career Center, Student bodies and other groups as well as Energy Companies globally to promote career opportunities and information sharing. Energy Companies include but are not limited to Oil and Gas Majors, Power generation, distribution and retailing companies, and Service providers to the Energy industry with domestic and international operations.
3. Arrange Company visits.
4. Expose Energy Companies to the activities at Bauer of relevance to the Energy Industry
5. Others: As appropriate work with specific Energy Companies to arrange for project and/or internship opportunities.
This is the first of seven Energy 101 sessions that are being put on by the Energy Club and is open to anyone interested in learning more about the energy industry. It will feature industry professionals giving talks about industry trends and developments. It will be from 12 AM – 3 PM on Saturday, October 20th in Melcher Hall Room 160..

The Energy 101 Series is a series of events hosted by the Energy Club of the Bauer MBA Society featuring well respected professionals within different sectors of the Energy Industry and is designed at addressing one aspect of this industry at each meeting such as oil-field production, energy supply chain, etc.
